I’M HEADED OUT FOR SOME CULTURE RESEARCH AT THE HIGH MUSEUM OF ART.  Of course, I’ve been there many times, but today they are presenting some ideas for families to some media and I am joining my Georgia Social Media Moms and Dads there to take part. Even though I wish my three school aged kids could attend, I am thrilled to know that I can take some good notes and share them with you when I return. I love the High Museum and their programming is incredible for all ages within a family.

I’m also trying to drop off some consignment clothing for a sale to be held Friday and Saturday at the East Cobb Church of Christ. It benefits the Mother’s Morning Out program and is called The Children’s Garden Sale. (The Children’s Garden is this fabulous learning area our Sunday School teachers Mrs. Evelyn and Mr. Chuck have created with the children.  They love young families and have a way of teaching nature lessons that keep the kids coming back. it is not unusual to see a crowd of children around them listening intently to them both. Anyway, the sale is our church’s first consignment sale.

I have learned so much about consignment sales this week…basically I have learned that I am a total newbie! I did not know there was a whole list of rules and culture built around getting a sale set up. Here’s the basic information for the sale…hope to see you there:

Do you use consignment sales as a seller or buyer? They are a great way to stretch the family budget. I’m just sorry that I am late to the fun.

Come back for more about the High visit tonight.
