DOWNTOWN ATLANTA IS FILLED WITH UNIQUE PLACES TO EXPLORE WITH YOUR FAMILY. One of the more unique museums – and by unique I mean it was the first of it’s kind in the United States and is now the largest – is The Center of Puppetry Arts. It has been here in the city for 30 years and continually provides education and performance opportunities to the conitual stream of visitors and to the community at large. Best of all – toddlers are welcomed in an age appropriate way, but I’ve never seen an adult leave unhappy. It’s truly entertaining and well done.

An event which sells out each year is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Doesn’t the memory of watching that on television just warm your heart? As you can see from these pictures, the show is based on the television special we all watched as a child each year. The minute I received these photos and showed them to my children, they burst into song:

“Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer had a very shiny nose…and if you ever saw it, you would even say it glowed…”
