YOU KNOW THE QUESTION EVERYONE ASKS WHEN THEY MEET YOU IN THE HALLWAY – “HOW HAVE YOU BEEN DOING?” – WELL, SOMETIMES I JUST DON’T KNOW WHAT TO SAY. It’s really a rhetorical question which the expected answer is one simple word, like ‘good’ or ‘fine’. If I were to honestly answer the question, then it would probably include things like laundry piles, dinner creations, and too little sleep. That’s the mundane part of life I see on a regular basis. Nothing fancy. In all of the drudgery there are many blessings. I know it to be true.

But there are other times in which opportunities occur, which contrast my normal days tenfold. On a normal Monday I walked into The St. Regis Hotel and interviewed a movie star and a director. So today I am showing you a glimpse of that chance. There were restrictions on how many and what type of photos we could take, so these are not perfect photos. They are simply a glimpse into one of those surreal moments. Writers do this type of public relations all the time. But honestly, this is so much better than the laundry pile waiting for me at home!
