Wordless Wednesday: First Football Camp

WILLIAM ATTENDED HIS FIRST “REAL” FOOTBALL CAMP THIS WEEK AT AUBURN. He had a great experience on The Plains and came away with some real skills. So great to see the positive side of sports rubbing off on my boy. William’s 3rd Grade Concert

LAST THURSDAY WILLIAM’S GRADE HAD A MUSIC CONCERT AT SCHOOL. Each class was grouped into sections on the risers. They wore their class t-shirts and jeans and performed both recorder and vocal arrangements. You wouldn’t think that third graders could generate much more than a roomful of headaches with the recorders, but they have one of the best music teachers in the state. Halloween 2010

As I’ve mentioned before, I truly enjoy Halloween with the kids. There is something wonderful about enjoying the fun of dressing up and seeing the smiles on their faces. I hate that it started as a pagan holiday, because that is not how we celebrate it.
