IT WAS GETTING TIME FOR DINNER AFTER OUR LUNCH OF CARAMEL CORN AND ICE CREAM IN SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS. We had just finished our Land of Lincoln fun and had begun the trek to Chicago. Our goal was to get to the location which we would use as headquarters for the rest of the vacation week.

The Little Things

TRAVELLING WITH FAMILY…it’s never easy and the preparations alone nearly kill the parents. There are the comments from the backseat which basically seem like a series of complaints:
“When are we going to get there?”
“How far to the next stop?”
